Clay Factory Clay
Clay Factory Clay is being developed by a wonderfully talented  and caring polymer artist, Marie Segal. I believe it will become the clay of choice for passionate clay
artisans. Why do I use a word like passionate? Because when one's body and soul is going to become part of a sculpture or a design it is vital to work with the finest
materials available. Preliminary testing confirms that this material will be "Clay Factory Clay".  For more details check out Clay Factory's home page.

All polymer clays conform to ASTM D-4236 and are labeled AP Non-toxic. That said, the clay should still not be left where small children or pets would have access to it. Do not work with the clay in areas where food is prepared or eaten.

As you can see there are a number of different brands of polymer clay. In most cases your choice will be determined by the availability of  a certain brand. All of the clays are compatible and may  be combined to achieve a certain strength or flexibility,
whatever is needed for the project you are making. For example, christmas ornaments will not be handled a great deal so you could choose a softer clay that was easy to
condition, especially if you are doing production work. If you are making jewelry  you will want to use the stronger clays.
