The National Institute of American Doll Artists is a prestigious organization of doll artists and supportive patrons whose purpose is to promote the art of the original, one-of-a-kind art doll. It is now actually an International organization adding many new members from around the world in recent years.

NIADA holds an Annual Conference during the summer that is open to doll artists, collectors, and others interested in the art of the doll. The 1998 Conference will be held Thursday, July 2 - Sunday, July 5, 1998 at The Hyatt Regency, Bellevue, Washington.

NIADA has published a book featuring color photographs and information about the organization and individual members, The Art of the Doll.
